| so now the possibility of moving to columbus has been thrown at me. if I move to my parents, I'll be shutting the door on my music "career". if I move to columbus, I could try for RhythmX with good chances of getting in mainly because of my name. at least this way I could keep marching and performing. also, working with drumhard would be a LOT easier. the job availability for me in columbus would also be better, since I could keep my job at wal-mart and probably get into the manager program easier which means lots of money quicker. the only thing about moving to columbus is...I'd be living with my brother. if you know me, then you know me and him don't get along too well. sure we're great if we're not near each other, but when we're under the same roof all hell usually breaks loose. July is going to be a shitty month, I can tell already. I have nothing to look forward to this month except boredom and difficult decisions. If anyone has any advice, I'll gladly listen to what you have to say.

| funniest thing I've heard in a while, it's probably one of those "you had to be there" moments, but whatever.
Brandon: Your hepatitis C makes me jealous of third world children Laura: And you say I'm mean! Brandon: I was talking about your boobs....

| so lightning hit the griblenson house last week during that big storm. it blew up our chimney, fried ryan's monitor, the modem, my router, and network card. so I've been without internet for like a week. but now it's back, and i'm happy again.

To update my situation of me leaving. After New Phila's band camp, I'm gonna have some sort of a going away party. I'll figure out when that is and let everyone know. I'm going to live with parents for a few monthes, save up some money, and get an apartment in the northern Kentucky/Cincinatti area. I plan to attend Northern Kentucky University. If not there, some where in the area. I know there are many universities, colleges, community schools, and tech schools in the area. And since this is the Cincinatti area, I won't have to worry about not finding a job ( unlike here ). I'm leaving because I just don't want to be in this area anymore. I feel as if I'm getting nothing out of it at all. I don't mean to say that the people here are what's fueling this, because they aren't. Everyone here I'm going to miss. The only reason I'm staying until after band camp is because band is the only thing I know I will miss. I have a lot of fun at rehearsals, and we're only working on parade stuff. Once we move on to the competition stuff, I'm sure it will be a blast. I just need out of here so I can start my life over again.

| well it's currently a quarter till 9. my alarm goes off in about 45 minutes. then Laura and I, if she's awake, are going to get some breakfast before rehearsal. I think I'm gonna take a power nap, because I'm pretty darn good at those.
